On this day in history the first magazine targeted at women “Ladies’ Mercury” was published in London, Bell Laboratories demoed the first colour television in New York, and at Obninsk, near Moscow in Russia, the first ever atomic power station went online. Today also saw a unique and historic event, a sale on the PlayStation Store. Lols.

Other than that both the Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus games have been revealed.

Castaway Paradise, a game inspired by Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 31st


Xbox One owners can play the first two levels of Unravel Two for free as of now. You get ten hours to play both levels as much as you like, but this is a time limited offer.


Omega Labyrinth Z, which refused classification in the UK by Video Standards Council as they felt it was ‘normalis[ing] sexual activity towards children’ will not be available at all in the West. If you want busty schoolgirls and upskirt peepshows then you’ll have to import the game.
