Total War: Three Kingdoms Launches Next March

In the Year of the Rat.

It might still be half a year away, but Total War’s next historical game is rapidly approaching, with Creative Assembly and Sega pinning a 7th March release date on Total War: Three Kingdoms.

In addition, they’ve opened up pre-orders for the game with a few sweeteners that include the Yellow Turban Rebellion Warlord Pack:

Naturally, there’s special editions as well. The Collector’s Edition will feature a 24cm resin Guan Yu statue, an art book covered in faux-leather, a limited edition game case made from authentic calligraphy paper with with watercolour and ink effect artwork, a double-sided campaign map and Warlord poster, and the aforementioned early adopter bonus.

Less luxurious is the Limited Edition, which simply features the Yellow Turban Rebellion expansion, a fancy limited edition case and the Warlord poster.

We got to go hands on with the game a little before Gamescom, and you can catch our impressions from the Ambush of Sun Ren scenario.
