Trine 4 Unofficially Confirmed

It’s been reported that the follow-up to Trine 3, unimaginatively titled Trine 4, has been confirmed. This is thanks to a document released this week by the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, in which they listed projects from independent studios that they are supporting.

Alongside details of Earthlock 2 from Snow Castle, Lumberjack from Tequila Words and Fictiorama Studio’s The Fabulous Fear Machine, there was also a listing for Frozenbyte’s Trine 4. There’s been no confirmation yet from Frozenbyte, but fans of the Trine series will surely be excited about the potential of finally have a conclusion to Trine 3’s rather premature ending.

  1. Didn’t even know there was a Trine 3 tbh!

    • There’s a Trine 2 too! I think there might even be another one, probably with a story set before Trine 2, dunno what it’s called but for convenience let’s just refer to it as Trine.
