After the fan pleasing (and appeasing) addition of General Grievous to the game at the end of October, his famous lightsaber duelling opponent has also dropped down into the fight. Obi-Wan Kenobi is now part of Star Wars: Battlefront II, and he’s brought his loyal 212th Attack Division of clonetroopers with him.
Naturally, Obi-Wan wields his lightsaber in battle, which can deflect blaster bolts and other lightsabers, but Obi-Wan’s defensive skill has given him an increased stamina pool with which to repel incoming attacks. This is joined by the All-Out Push ability, which gives a powerful Force push in front of him (which can be increased in range and width if you hold the button down), a Defensive Rush ability where he runs forward and swings his saber around, and Restrictive Mind Trick which disrupts all opponent abilities including dodges.
Star Wars: Battlefront II is currently midway through the Clone Wars season, with the Battle of Geonosis set for release in December. At that time, Obi-Wan will be getting a ‘General Kenobi’ skin.
