Persona 5 Royal trailer reintroduces the Phantom Thieves

A new trailer has been released for Persona 5 Royal which looks to re-introduce and, in one case, introduce the Phantom Thieves. As you can imagine all the main playable characters are there including Joker, Morgana, Ann,Makoto,Ryuji, Yusuke, Haru, and Futaba. New character Kasumi is also shown with some gameplay. Every introduction leads off of an attack and the trailer flows rather well.

Kasumi isn’t the only new addition to Persona 5. There will also be new areas to explore and areas to fight in. While Kasumi teams up with the Phantom Thieves she doesn’t agree with their methods which will surely be another source of conflict for the group. There are a few different versions of the game to pre-order outside of the standard version. These include:

Phantom Thieves Edition (Physical) – €89.99 / £79.99 / AUD149.95
  • Official Joker Mask (comes with a stand)

  • Soundtrack

  • Dynamic PS4™ theme code

Launch Edition (Physical) – €59.99 / £49.99 / AUD99.95

  • Dynamic PS4™ theme code
Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition (Digital) €99.99

In our review for Persona 5 Dave wrote:

“Persona 5 stole my heart. It was impossible to believe that the best game of the already venerated series was still to come, and yet somehow everything works wonderfully. I’d rather the dialogue didn’t pad things out as much as it did, but I was captivated from beginning to end, while it successfully brought back mechanics long thought out-dated, and introduced smart changes for the better. An essential RPG for 2017 that you should not miss out on.”
