Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 will add Goku Ultra Instinct and Kefla

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 will be landing on February 28th. The big new addition is the character Kefla who will lead the new roster of this season, but she is not the only one. Goku is getting a bit of a transformation as Season 3 will also add Goku Ultra Instinct. Those who have the FighterZ Pass will get access to Kefla, and all subsequent fighters, two days earlier than everyone else. The third season will add a total of five fighters with three yet to be revealed.

Over the weekend Bandai Namco also revealed information about the game’s next update. Leading the update will be the ability for players to choose the Z Assist, along with balance issues so players left with one character still have a chance in the fight. The balance update will also change the power of some moves and combos too. An exact date for that update is to be confirmed.

In our review for Dragon Ball FighterZ Dave wrote:

2018 is off to a strong start with Dragon Ball FighterZ an early contender for this year’s best fighting game.  By shattering some boundaries, Dragon Ball FighterZ has combat that’s more than worth getting into, but also a diverse roster and some phenomenal presentation. The Story Mode could have been improved if it were more streamlined, but it’s a mere blemish on an otherwise spectacular game.
