After a few quiet weeks, things are picking up in the gaming industry as we move into the autumn. In fact, whisper it, but today marks 100 days until Christmas!
There’s still a wildly busy release schedule ahead of us, but before we get to that, let’s recap the last seven days in this week’s round up!

There was a double-whammy of Nintendo Direct and PlayStation State of Play this week, and here’s some of the highlights, alongside a bunch of other news.

From the previews, Stefan dove into the latest Total War entry, Pharaoh which is set during the Egyptian New Kingdom era. Dom then looked at Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, an action RPG that stands out thanks to its “fresh and fascinating” story.
Meanwhile, Galacticare is set to be the latest hospital management sim, except it takes place in space, meaning your patients are all aliens!
And finishing off the week, What We Played included Mortal Kombat 1, The Crew Motorfest & Starfield.
