Have we all come down from last weekend’s Summer Game Fest bonanza? Personally I missed roughly the first half of the extended weekend’s schedule, checking in for Sunday’s Xbox and Monday’s Ubisoft shows, which had some neat announcements and surprises.

And then we had a batch of previews alongside those highlight. I went hands on with Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD to see how it’s been revitalised for Nintendo Switch, and checked in on GreedFall 2: The Dying World, as developer Spiders give a fresh perspective into their fantasy colonialist world, and a shift in combat system.
Jason played the roguelike deckbuilding chain-3 mashup of Demon’s Mirror – it’s better than you might expect! – as Ade previewed Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter.
And with Dawntrail nearly upon us, Reu charted the best places to visit in Final Fantasy XIV before the big new expansion arrives.
Rounding things out as always, What We Played featured Destiny 2: The Final Shape, Final Fantasy XIV and Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance
