What We Played – Forza Horizon 6, Outbound & Everything is Crab

As the year 2026 seems to want to truck along at a ridiculous rate of knots, we’ve reached the end of yet another week. Bereft of a bank holiday – come on, surely every week should give us Monday off? – we’ve had to do stuff all week, and while I’ve been putting in a lot of time preparing for this year’s triathlons, I’ve balanced that with sitting on my butt and playing a bunch of Forza Horizon 6. It is another lovely Forza Horizon game, and while it’s a well-worn formula, it doesn’t feel like it is. Besides that, there’s been more Overwatch, and I got to check out the impressive Switch 2 port for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

This week, Gamoc has played Ghost Master Resurrection for review. He’s also played more Starfield and checked out Everything is Crab, which is like Spore and a Survivors-like combined.

Jason also put a bit more time into Everything is Crab, but has mostly been playing FF7 Remake Intergrade. He says, “I’m nearing the end of it now, and it’s a lot better than I found it the first time. It has me wondering about time pressure and all sorts of stuff. I’m looking forward to getting to the next one.”

Aran played Motorslice for review, telling us, “Even though the experience was okay, I still got the Platinum for it. It needs tighter controls and maybe a bit less horniness. Went back to Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and I’m currently grinding out the dungeon so I can raise funds to buy the top tier weapons and level up faster.” That’s not all though, as he continued, “I’ve also put some time into Football Manager 26 and started a new save with Real Zaragoza. Just outside of the playoff places in the league and have made it to the quarter finals of the Spanish Cup!”

Laura has been gently cruising in her camper around the scenic views of Outbound ready for review soon! She told us, “I’ve just unlocked a new map where I adopted an adorable doggo (named Woofer, in case you were wondering, which you probably weren’t!) And he carries various resources for me but seems to meander off every time I want to pet him… he’ll learn to love me eventually!”

Tef played BSG Scattered Hopes, saying, “It’s pretty neat and feels like the TV series.” He also played Forza Horizon 6, “which is definitely a Forza Horizon. That’s good tho.”

Jim once again checked back into his backlog. “After falling off of Silent Hill 2 I decided to dive back into the backlog and install Skull & Bones. It’s easy to see why it wasn’t the landmark “AAAA” blockbuster Ubisoft was hoping for with its repetitive open-world gameplay and live service hooks. With Year 3 having just kicked off, it’s a much bigger and more refined game. Sure, some of those inherent foibles remain though I’m having a great time with it so far.”

And last, but not least, Steve spent this week playing a bunch of Call of the Elder Gods, finished the very good Saint of Chains (an indie first-person take on Silent Hill), endured a few hours with the very rough Deadhaus Sonata and enjoyed his time with the retro JRPG, Quartet. He says, “The latter did ruin my playthrough of Breath of Fire III, though, as now I’ve got no idea where I’m going – trying to multitask JRPOG maps is a nightmare!”

What about you, what have you played?
