Ah. The ball of fire has returned. Here in the UK, and across Europe, it’s hot again. You can obviously go outside and enjoy all that vitamin D, but it’s probably a good idea to balance that with hiding indoors in the glorious shade. We know the importance of that here at TSA, and we’ve been maintaining our safety by playing video games. I’ve had a mixed week, working my way back through Granblue Fantasy Relink Endless Raganarok and remembering why I liked the original game so much in the first place. Besides that, I’ve also played Iron Nest, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel and a touch more Rise of the Tomb Raider.

First up from the team, Aran has been playing Kaz for review – look out for that next week – and Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. He told us, “I do aim to finish that at some point this year, I just don’t know when”.
Steve has been playing some more God of War: Ascension via PS+ streaming, a second run through the decent Saint of Chains which has benefited from some needed updates since launch and is in a better position to review now, and also started Onimusha: Warlords – initially through emulation before picking up the remasters of the two first games cheap during the Summer Sales. He’s also got a few indie games lined up to play for review too.
Jim is approaching the end of Silent Hill 2 and he says, “I get the sense that I’m due for quite the story twist. I’ve really enjoyed the level design, which I assume Bloober Team faithfully adapted from the original release. Each area feels like a puzzle box that steadily unravels as you solve conundrums and batter a menagerie of demented monsters with a lead pipe. I can’t wait to see what the developer can do with a Silent Hill 1 remake.”

Gareth set sail on a pair of historical adventures this week, played Black Flag Resynced and Bellwright for review, as well as Balatro. The drinks are on him, as he tells us, “I got 3.5 million in a single hand the other day!”
Ade hasn’t had a whole lot of time for gaming this week, but he did play some Human Fall Flat with my son, which he says was “Tremendous fun!”
Last up, Tef has been descending into Hell, though in a moderately enjoyable multiplayer way in 33 Immortals. That’s not all, though, as he stepped back in time to play the first mission of Dawn of War, reasoning, “Because Dawn of War IV looks good.” Which he is definitely right about.
What about you? What have you played?
