GAME Group Reward and Gift Cards Coming Back Online

Game Group, which speaks for GAME and Gamestation, has told MCV that it has reactivated all reward cards and Elite cards. Gift cards are not usable again just yet but they have said that they will be switching those back on over this coming weekend.

Great news for those of you (us!) who still had some credit on our reward cards and even better news if you hadn’t used that gift card your granny got your for Christmas.

Game says you might not want to rush out this weekend and try to spend it though, apparently they’re still in the process of fully restocking their stores so it might be worth waiting until you have a wider selection now that the retailer’s administration woes are over.

Cards were suspended by administrators on March 26th, although they quickly began reinstating some functions and now it will only be a few days before all functions of the loyalty scheme are back up to speed.

Customers will be able to use them as normal. We’re also working hard to restock our stores, and there will be a much bigger range of products for customers to choose from in the next couple of weeks.

  1. Good news, everyone!

  2. Not sure what to spend my sixty odd pence on.
    Good news though.

    • You can be the rightful owner of Game for that (and still have enough left over for a Sherbet Dip).

      • Long time since I had a sherbet dip, maybe not buy Game and get two dips.

This is very much true – I went into my local one earlier & it was almost a singular game to a shelf!

Seems that they haven’t learned anything about pricing through this fiasco though – The games that they did have were very much overpriced!

    • I guve them 18 months before they are gone for good if thats the case. Another load of public money down the drain.

      • Yeah, it was in quite a sorry state to be fair (with the lack of stock & awful pricing), but i am hoping that will just be because of the backlash of administration.

Hopefully, they will soon be fully restocked & offering games at more sensible prices. Doubt it though if i am honest.

  4. public money, have i missed something?

  5. No game in my town ha. Leeds is neatest but think I’ll stick with hmv

  6. This is just good news in so much that they’re getting back on their feet.
