You’ll be able to buy a bundle including both the PS4 and PS Vita before Christmas, Sony have revealed speaking to MCV. This is part of the company’s push for Remote Play, which allows you to play PS4 games via streaming on your handheld.
And via twitter, here’s the first image of the bundle from MCV’s print edition – presumably they’ll be coming in the same box then.
There’s no word on pricing, but something around £450 would be suitable, considering you can pick up the PS4 for £349 and the Vita for less than £150 now.
They’re really pushing the Vita as well as their new home console in the run up to Christmas, with a £2.5m TV advertising campaign which focuses on Remote Play features as well as their big exclusive, Tearaway.

Someone on GAF mentioned the first week of December. Can’t remember the exact date but it was referencing the same picture. Not sure if that was just a guess or not.

Figured that’d more than likely be the case, might put some people off if they are after the better screen of the original vita (only going off what I’ve read and see on the web).

£469 is my prediction but we shall see. Curious as to the size of memory card as that may well influence the price!
Hope the big push finally gets the Vita the sales it deserves.

That sounds about right, but will also depend on the demand for PS4. If there still in short supply Sony could price the bundle slightly higher.

They could have done this for launch. IMO a lot more people would have picked one up.
I don’t have a vita. But I’ve got a ps4 day 1 guarantee with the Killzone megabundle. I’d have considered this pack instead however by the time it comes out I’ll already have a ps4 and I’ve no inclination to buy a vita (i.e. Not interested enough in it to buy it standalone).

Shame they never announced this earlier or I’d have got my brother one for Xmas instead if the Killzone pack.
I got my Vita a launch so I’m not as bothered for myself.
However the announce of conversation over a PS4/Vita pack may have got Sony to develop one. More listening to the gamer?
