It’s amazing to think it’s November next week. I can’t believe how quickly September and October have flown by. Of course, that means that we’re well into the busy Q4 release period, and the release schedule should start slowing down after this week’s bonanza of AAA games. How has your bank account fared so far?
In the sporting world, Lewis Hamilton looks all set to wrap up his fourth World Driver’s Championship on Sunday, but will he do it in style with a win? Or will the Mercedes struggle in Mexico City and the Red Bulls and Ferraris battle it out for victory?

This Week’s Features
The sole preview this week came from Tef, who had a look at Steel Rats, which he described as “a big mash-up of several genres,” with the developers having “thrown anything and everything into the melting pot of design.”
The other week saw the long awaited release of Gran Turismo Sport, however it’s clear that Polyphony have some work to do if they want to get the most out of their game. Tef’s made some suggestions such as wet weather races, tweaking sportsmanship ratings and more, but in what ways do you want to see the game improve?
Elsewhere, Ade’s Playing With History series returns for a look at Assassin’s Creed Origins to see how well Ubisoft have got the setting right for the series relaunch.
You may well have seen items in the news about Nazis in video games, and while Aran’s review of Wolfenstein II is just around the corner, Tef took some time to sit down with Senior Game Designer Arcade Berg to talk about the game.
Ending the features like we always do, What We Played featured Super Mario Odyssey, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus & Destiny 2.

Your Achievements
Gazetting TSA’ers lives’ this week:
- MrYd reduced his backlog by 1%, but got distracted by Rez Infinite and Star Trek Bridge Crew.
- TSBonyman is finding that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is getting a bit repetitive, but luckily he’s nearing the end.
- Andrewww blasted through 3 weeks worth of TSA quizzes, but hasn’t shared his scores so I think we know what that means!
- Between reading his Star Wars book, ron_mcphatty has been getting some Wolfenstein action in.
- And lastly, Ade gives Assassin’s Creed Origins his verdict: “It’s damn good and gets two thumbs up (my maximum thumb based score, seeing as I only have the two opposable thumbs)”. Who needs scores out of ten, eh?
The Week Ahead
After last week’s bumper schedule, this week is looking far more subdued. Perhaps it’s got something to do with a little game called Call of Duty?
- Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back – PS4, PC – 31/10
- Monopoly – Switch – 31/10
- Spintires: MudRunner – PS4, XBO, PC – 31/10
- Call of Duty: WW2 – PS4, XBO, PC – 3/11
- .hack//G.U. Last Recode – PS4, PC – 3/11
That’s all for this week, and hopefully we’ll see you again soon!

It’s just one particular section (the train) in U:LL that i’m finding a bit too familiar – the rest has actually been quite enjoyable!

Maybe I just didn’t want to frustrate anyone with my exceptional scores?
