Any concern that the upcoming PixelJunk Shooter 2 will be little more than a semi-sequel, an expansion pack have been directly laid to rest by the game’s producer.
Speaking to TheSixthAxis, PixelJunk head honcho Dylan Cuthbert told us that the game will be a “proper sequel”, and have some “pretty cool stuff in it” putting any doubts aside, simultaneously adding a sprinkling of intrigue.
Expect new suits, though, and new ideas for fluid mechanics.
PixelJunk Shooter 2 will be featured in the next issue of OPM US and quite possibly revealed on the web, today. TheSixthAxis scored the original game a solid 8/10 and is a game everyone with a PS3 should play.
