In the latest batch of DW7 scans from this week’s Famitsu, several more characters have been revealed. They include Liu Bei’s son and subsequent Shu emperor, Liu Chan. Some will recognise him as a generic NPC character from previous games, though this time around he will play an important role as Omega Force are prolonging Dynasty Warriors’ original storyline past the Battle of WuZhang Plains.
Among historians he is praised in the same light as his father; a people person, though some criticise him as being a negligent and unworthy successor.
History lesson to one side, Liu Chan’s unique weapon has yet to be confirmed though as we showed in more detail this week, characters can now carry two weapons into battle, switching between them almost instantly. Other returning characters include Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei, Zhang He, Dong Zhuo, and Xiao Qiao.
