Zipper Interactive has confirmed an April 18th release date in North America for its upcoming team-based shooter, SOCOM 4. No word on an EU date, but hopefully we won’t be too far behind. I personally am looking forward to getting my hands on SOCOM 4, as the last time I played it (with Move) it was very enjoyable. There’s a grim satisfaction in being able to pull off pixel perfect headshots – or am I just destined for the asylum?

My first online gaming experience was SOCOM on the PS2 as well. Lotta good memories with that one. Now I’m hoping to make SOCOM the first FPS I play online with my fancy new Move.
