Firmware 2.40 Pulled
Naturally, it’s impossible for us to check as we’re all 2.40′d up and running, but we’ve had a few emails in saying the update is no longer available via the XMB, with 2.36 owners claiming the PS3 is telling them they’ve got the latest version installed. 60Naturally, it’s impossible for us to check as we’re all 2.40′d up and running, but we’ve had a few emails in saying the update is no longer available via the XMB, with 2.36 owners claiming the PS3 is telling them they’ve got the latest version installed.
Presumably this has something to do with reports earlier today of the new update causing problems with some users’ consoles. As ever, best to keep an eye on the Official Blog for more but we’ll update this post in the morning if we hear anything.
