Mirror’s Edge: The Truth

“We are continuously, month after month publishing new titles that bring something unique to different target groups. In a month, it is Gran Turismo, in the next SingStar, as well as Third-Party titles [such] as Mirror’s Edge by Electronic Arts are part of this strategy” said Reeves last week. Little did he expect that a German website would totally misquote him and turn the quote around into Mirror’s Edge being a timed exclusive, prompting much confusion over the web this weekend.
Well, 360 fans, panic not: EA plans to release Mirror’s Edge across all formats simultaneously this Winter. “Mirror’s Edge will not be timed exclusive for PS3″ said an EA spokesperson speaking to ButtonMasher.

The only thing I’ve heard was that the PS3 is the leadplatform for ME 8-)

I didn’t expect it to be a timed exclusive and I don’t get why people were so certain of it. Anyway, as long as the PS3 version is as good/better than the 360 version I am pleased :)
