Home Goes Viral: XI?

TheGamingOwl recently reported strange goings-on in Home, specifically on the user PDAs, and has since blogged on more odd happenings.  Clearly somebody forgot to uncomment some code, but it hasn’t stopped the internet jumping on the rumour bandwagon and declaring this to be something to do with Firmware 2.7.  We remember the days when gaming journalism meant actually checking facts before publishing (and all this was just fields of grass) but seeing as we’re as guilty as anyone for just getting news out and checking it later, let’s let this one roll.

But no, this is nothing to do with Firmware 2.7 – and XI doesn’t stand for Cross Interface, but fun times are ahead.  We like this, Sony, keep it up.
