LittleBigPlanet’s development is still going strong, Cornish Yarg comes out next week with all its lovely new features and tools, and there’s a whole month’s worth of other DLC to get your hands on including some wonderful new costumes.

Today:

For €5.99 you can get your hands on a pack of Ragdoll Kung Fu goodies, cementing the PSN game’s release today but also providing the most ridiculous moustache you’ve ever seen this side of Germany.  The pack contains a Hero costume, a Master Hip costume, a Master Sin costume, a Master Tang costume, a Sung Ling costume and 36 themed stickers.  Most costumes consist of 4 parts, so you’re getting decent value for money.

There should also be a €1.99 Patapon Costume, which consists of a skin, a head-dress, an axe, a bow and a sword.

April 16th:

You’ll be able to pick up a FREE Monkey King costume, the winning design from the Asian competition.  There’s a crown, some clothes, a tail, a staff and a skin texture.

Don’t forget to get all excited about the FREE Cornish Yarg update today though, with the following new features:

- There is a new music player which lets players choose their own music from the XMB to play during create mode and in their Pod
- Improved decoration mode makes it easier to customise your Sackboy
- Option to delete all (unhearted) community objects and photos
- Option to select whether to automatically collect community prizes and photos
- A number of improvements have been made to make profiles more robust and to recover from certain errors
- We now support Japanese and Korean IME for text chat.
- Emitter prediction has been improved (this should help fast-moving projectiles e.g. in MGS levels)
- The player proximity switch now has a ‘require all’ option in it
- An option has been added to cycle between various level information when viewing community levels on the earth
- Various LittleBigStore improvements

April 23rd:

Whilst we thought these would have been in the Cornish Yarg update, it appears that the first (FREE) Creators Pack will be a week later.  The pack will contain an infinite lives checkpoint, an option to hide certain objects, global lighting changes, a tetherless jetpack and an angle range proximitiy switch.

Bizarrely, there’s also a Heavenly Sword pack on the same day, for €2.99.  This will get you a Nariko costume (sword, wig, dress) and a Kai costume (hat, hair, gloves, boots and skin) and 27 themed stickers.

April 30th:

SCEE’s first mythology inspired pack for LittleBigPlanet, the Egyptian Mini-Pack (€1.99) comes with costumes for Anubis (a mask and some robes) and a costume for Sekhmet (a mask, er, and some robes) and 10 themed stickers.

May 7th:

Which is then followed up by the Norse Mythology Mini-Pack, again €1.99 gets you two sets of costumes (Thor and Valkyrie) which seem to be a little more substantial, and another 10 themed stickers.

Tips: BoyDay, XIIITI
