Flower Devs No Longer Exclusive

Could ThatGameCompany be moving to the Xbox 360 or Wii?

ThatGameCompany, the developers behind Flow and, of course, Flower, will be free to develop for consoles other than the PS3 once their next game is out, according to MCV.  The recently expanded crack team of coders, now associated with innovative, mainly motion controlled titles, only have PlayStation exclusivity for three games, and they’ve already kicked out two.

There’s nothing stopping them staying with Sony after the next game, mind.  Creative Director Jenova Chen only has good things to say about Sony and the PlayStation Network. “At Sony we would like to think we have the foresight to take well-calculated risks which provide us content players cannot find anywhere else and production schedules which make such risks viable.”

We’ll see.
