Some people may know that the PSN version of Battlefield seems to have developed a few bugs, seemingly coming to light after the 43m kills target was reached, and the Coral Sea map was unlocked.
A limited number of users have been reporting that their rank had been lost along with all their stats and badges, causing the Coral Sea menu option to disappear.
DICE, the EA team behind Battlefield 1943 are currently investigating what is causing the problems, and will presumably be resolving the issues as soon as they can.
Update.
The servers have been taken offline and bought back online again, there are no reports yet as to whether all the new the problems have been fixed or not.
As usual we’ll update this post with any news as and when we get it.

I’ve just discovered some new problems. Today I finished a game and my XP wasn’t carried over. Also I was just playing a few seconds ago, I had 60 points and after I accidentally suicided, I lost all of my points (-60)

Hmm you got to wonder if Dice/EA doesn’t learn my their mistakes. BF Heroes had the same problems and even Heroes is a PC only game, it’s a bit peculiar.

i compared stats with my mate on their site using My Soldier, and im a higher rank but he has more points.

I just can’t get any kills. When you destroy a jeep from the turret of a tank and the guy carries on and kills you with a single rifle shot, you know the game is borked. I’m averaging about 25 points, 0 kills and 15 deaths a game.
And no, I’m not a noob.

Aha, but I tried it on my brother’s 360 and kicked ass! 260 points in a single game.
Then came back home and scored 10.

I can average like 300 points a game sooo, what are you doing wrong?
You can’t play it like any other shooter, because it isn’t any other shooter.

The only problem I have is getting kicked off about one in three games because of network issues (no other games have any network issues and my connection is fine)

what about the mic issues?? i hate being able to hear my squad for 3 mins at the begining of a match then silence for the rest of the time.

I’m not experiencing any of the new issues. I just want them to fix the damn servers so i’m kicked out of a game every other match. And once I get kicked I find it difficult to get back into a game.
EA always have problems with their servers.

I tried to make a game with sum friends in america nd theuy couldnt join with me! A lot of people are saying that in private match u cant seem to play against people of different regions!

Who knows what’s going on… my next update will be something official either way, might have to wait until the US wakes up though.
