What if TSA actually started writing about games again instead of posting every random thought that springs to mind?

A very valid thought there. I think ive said things to that effect before but im not sure if anyone listens to or cares what I think.

That is one reason that we all love TSA though, no one is up themselves and we can go off on a tangent which I do find entertaining as well as the serious PS3/XBOX stuff.

Yup, 2 sides to every coin I suppose. No matter what is done you cant please them all.
Some would like one thing you are happy with the other.
The question is: What is the best way to tackle this feedback?

A good example was the feedback on the Forza3 review, wow that provoked some strong feeling but I was cool with it all and knew that a good article was just around the corner which soon diluted the mass hysteria……Love Tuffcubs articles, he goes there lol.

I like Gamocs stuff, its mostly blog type stuff but it relates to me more.
That Forza stuff was just nuts, the problem with that review was that it was so one sided people thought it was biased instead of actually realising that it was worth it or even reading the words in the first place. Stupid really.
TSA did learn from that though and changed their review set up which is good management.
I wonder if it will always take a mass influx of comments before big changes are made or if a sole long standing members opinion counts.
Maybe im being selfish though, im very opinionated but i know im not alone with them.

Yeah I think a lot of people just went straight to the end of the review to look at the numbers….god I hope I don’t start it all up again. I like all of the writers articles on TSA but must admit that Tuffcub really does not give a shit and his humour shines through…..slut.

Not a fan tbh but hey ho, read a few comments upwards.
I dont think anyone can argue that the review set up is great now, especially the fact that the score is just a little tiny itty bitty number at the end, forcing you to do what your supposed to….read the dam thing!!
Its a shame we dont have more reviews….proper ones. But its way too much to ask these guys to do that kind of thing when they are voluntary workers.
I would do one or 2 but the image of the site cant be tarnished with unexperienced writers, which I understand, hopefully they could bring back that Guest reviewer in 250 words or less thingy, unfortunatly I couldnt do the last ones due to me not owning the games put forward.
I liked the range of opinions in the MW review, that was good to see(and prove) that reviews ARE just opinions.

Honestly? We’d love to do more reviews, but they take a long time to do, you have to play the game and then write a well thought out piece about it. It’s not easy, and with stuff like press events, news coverage, blogs, sleeping, eating and work/school it’s hard. Give us enough money to go full time and we’ll happily do more reviews

We’ve posted 14 articles today, 11 were directly related to games or the consoles, one was lunch time discussion (so about games then), one was Gamoc’s piece about achievements and one was this which will be about games (at least loosely) tomorrow. I think that’s a pretty good ratio.

Dont get me wrong, I totally understand that. Just a shame is all
I like reading reviews, they are true gaming articles and give an insight into the writers mind in the process.

Isn’t TSA doing a feature on Zombies on Thursdays? So given the “arggggh! It’s got my leg!” and the “Urgh…argh” bit at the end I can only assume “What If” has been delayed because it’s going to be a zombie related article.
Tell me I’m right! Pleeeeeeeeeaaaassssseee!!!
