We told you the Japanese date was the 24th of December for PixelJunk Shooter, but we can now reveal that, according to 9lives.be, the European release date might be two weeks earlier, on the 10th of December. We asked PixelJunk’s Dylan Cuthbert for confirmation on the date, but we couldn’t get a definitive answer. Either way, expect the latest in the fantastic 2D series to be around that kind of area, and hopefully at least before the Japanese release.
We’ll have a little bit more on PixelJunk Shooter very soon indeed…

You and Fresh191 have had your EU PSN accounts altered so you have to wait for the Japanese version as punishment.

I hope there’s a TSA equivalent over in Japan and all the locals (there) are going mental at how we’re getting an earlier release, then furiously working out how to decipher English to get a EU account going to make a purchase.

Just to inform: I specifically asked for the European release date when I got my review copy, so it’s legit

Niiiice! I was hoping for a pre-Christmas release, but didn’t think it was going to happen when you reported the japanese date.

Please be true. Gravity Crash is making the wait unsustainable.

Forgive me for my ignorance in this, i haven’t played either Gravity Crash or PJ Shooter, however they both seem very similar in terms of gameplay etc. That isn’t a bad thing i have room on my xmb for both, i really love the PSN for these type of games.

I feel that PJ Shooter is going to feel very different with the interaction of the lava, water, magnetic fluid, etc. Also, I think it’s two-player (local) co-op which changes everything. Both have their own merits and both are cheap enough to purchase. Oh, Gravity Crash music is GREAT!
