8Electronic Arts have revealed in their latest press release that Tiger Woods 11, out 8th June will be supporting the new Sony Motion Controller.
The press release states that “The Ryder Cup, will be featured in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 and in addition, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will support Sony’s new PlayStation 3 Motion Controller to give gamers an authentic interactive swing experience.”
Other features from the new Tiger Woods game include the ability to participate in team play both online and offline. The new online mode allows up to 24 players to compete head-to-head as members of a team, which sounds pretty awesome.
The biggest news of all of this though is the support for Sony Motion, and with the game set for release on the 8th June, you have to wonder if the controller will soon follow.
