Splinter Cell: Conviction PS3 “Wait & See”

Speaking in an interview with VG247, Ubisoft’s Maxime Béland has stated how management at the studio are adopting a “wait and see” attitude regarding the possibility of the latest in the Splinter Cell series coming to the PS3. In what is yet another rehashing of the same perpetual rumour regarding Conviction’s exclusivity (or lack of), the studio boss goes on to reiterate how great Microsoft have been supporting the title.

“We’ll have to see what decisions are made by Ubisoft’s management in the future. The decision for Conviction was purely a business move. Microsoft have been wonderful in their support for Conviction. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with them on Splinter Cell Conviction.”

We’re keeping this article somewhat curt as it’s starting to feel like Groundhog Day around here with this particular story. We’d mention all the other ‘evidence’ out there suggesting a PS3 version is at least in development but we’re literally bored of this story at this point. Splinter Cell: Conviction is great. You know, the version that we know definitely does exist. How about we just focus on that for a while?
