
As much as I love my PS3′s ability to play Blu-ray films, the ridiculous install times before playing pretty much every multiformat game can often verge on embarrassing.
The latest? Split/Second, which apparently smashes the previous 4.7GB cap (which I thought was a mandatory limit), requiring 7 whole gigabytes of space on your hard drive, according to the shots of the US box-art.

Update: Playfront are reporting that the install size of the Euro version is less than half that reported on the back of the box, claiming a 3.7 GB install. Maybe someone missed the 3. bit off the back…?
