President of SCE Worldwide Studios and leakmeister extrordinaire, Shuhei Yoshida, appears to have announced a mystery PlayStation Move title. During the same interview in which he revealed some top secret GT5 details, he also said:
“Games like EyePet Move Edition, Move Party (working title), TV Superstars and Draw will reach out to new types of users by offering intuitive, pick up and play experiences for all ages of users. “
No one has mentioned the title ‘Draw’ before. It could be brand new game, but my guess is that it’s the new name for ‘The Shoot’. However, it would be odd to rename that particular game. ‘The Shoot’ refers both to the game mechanic and also that it is played on a film set.

I for one am looking forward to picking up some of these titles. I consider myself a hardcore gamer, but I think Move will be a fun distraction.

The Shoot is a much better name, so hopefully its not a name change

Maybe it’s the Drawing/Painting tech demo expanded to a full application. That would be cool although i was expecting that to be included on the demo disc.

Draw sounds like an art game/application opposed to a shooter. They’ve displayed drawing and painting on tech demos but there’s yet to be a game utilising it. If this is the case then hopefully it’ll be less family friendly and more like Photoshop or at least MS Paint. Family friendly seems like the more likely choice though.

Maybe Draw was the working title and The Shoot was the new name? Nothing at E3 referred to The Shoot as being the working title and it makes too much sense in the context of the game (film shoot + gun shoot) for them to change it, unless there was a trademark infringement. Notice that he also refers to Move Party, which at E3 is now called ‘Start the Party’, so it seems his info is out of date…
However it wouldn’t surprise me if a drawing/painting game did come to Move given how accurate the Move controller is for that type of thing and we’ve already seen tech demos of pens and paint brushes and spray cans etc…

I think what they need to do is a fashion-type title. Don’t kill me!
But if Sony want the casual crowd a drawing / painting program with some fashion / catwalk type thing would get the punters in droves. Combining all that customisation with dance games etc. is surely some part of the strategy. And yes I imagine there will be some parading around the SingStar Home arena to go with it too.

the mystery move title i would like to know about is there at 1:16 and 1:30

That has my full attention. I’ve already mentioned that Move would be awesome in an Alan Wake sort of way. I hope they do a horror game (doesn’t have to be a gore-fest, just something suspenseful).

Aaah please tell me EyePet will be patched for Move support rather than only being released as “Move Edition” separately…one of the reasons why I bought EyePet was in the hope that it would eventually be updated to support the Move. :(
Porcupine_I
same here! i don’t want to buy it again.
and i also want a move bundle with 2 move controllers and one side controller and no camera :)

They are making a patch for EU Eyepet to support Move. Last I heard thay were still pondering if the patch would be free or cost something.

Maybe it’s some kind of “Microsoft Paint” app where you can draw, spray paint etc. Similar to what they demonstrated at last year’s E3 perhaps.

I thought I’d heard the name before – there was a ‘Sing and Draw’ on the original TGS09 games list.

And if we assume that was an old name, there was a ‘Beat Sketcher’ on the E3 list too, in the first-party section: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/16/full-list-of-playstation-move-titles-surfaces/
