It was supposed to reach Xbox gamers this week, but the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta has been delayed for a second time.
The official Medal of Honor blog is quoting simply “issues” as the reason and apologised for the delay. The beta will be extended for Xbox users once it is finally up and running. It’s available for Xbox gamers who have pre-ordered the full game.
The beta is in “full swing” on the PS3 and PC and EA’s recent ‘partnership’ with Sony is leading people to speculate that other factors may be involved in the delay. Whatever the reason, it will come to the Xbox 360, it’s just a case of when.
Medal of Honor is released in October, 2010.

Good thing really, can get more time on ps3 (only played it once & not since the patch) before I try it on xbox. Hopefully xbox version will have more updates & fixes

i hate it when you have to pre-order the game to get the beta. what if you want to play the beta to see if you want to buy the game or not? well i guess you could pe-order it, get the code and then cancel the pre-order. i’m not sure if this would work though, or if it’s even legal. so don’t get caught doing this and then blame it on me :)

Demos are to see if you want to buy a game.Betas are to fix bugs and issues.

I meant that I personally play on betas to see if I want to buy a game or not. This may not be their sole purpose but it is mine ;)

Yeah that is what a beta is essentially but these days it’s also for demoing.

Yeah you can cancel the order, it’s what I’m doing with Play.com once I get the beta code ;)

Yep, preorder, get code, cancel preorder. It’s certainly not breaking any laws in the UK!

Is it because the 360 is simply teh suxx0r?!

EA and DICE are taking their sweet time with the 360 build. I would have expected it to be out with the PS3 and PC versions by now.

Whats the PS3 version like?, Eurogamer’s Digital Foundary, (no pro 360 at all, lol!) didn’t seem too impressed with the Beta, stating it wasn’t as clean and smooth running as B:BC2 multiplayer. Yup, I know it’s a beta but I’m assuming it’s running the FROST engine which clearly isn’t Beta.

*(not pro 360 at all, lol!) where is the EDIT button?
BIGAL-1992
First off, I don’t know what the beta is like as I don’t have, but from what I know it’s definatly got several problems. Also, there’s no edit button on the main page for comments.

it’s a beta, it will have issues. I think most of the negativity is based around the fact that it’s not COD and it’s not BFBC 2. Which is exactly what I expected. Waiting for my code from Amazon for the 5th July.
Michael33
The problem with it is its too much like BFBC2. Not saying thats a bad thing but it just feels like a map pack for BFBC2.

The gameplay it self feels a lot faster than BC2, more like MW2. The maps are smaller than Battlefield Maps but larger than MW maps. I really enjoye the time i spent with the Beta, especially after they patched it. I’m a big fan of BC2 but a few of my firends prefer MW2, and i found that MoH was a pretty good balance of the two, so we were all able to enjoy it. The “killstreak” rewards system is very well designed and IMO is better than that of MW2.

The way the PS3 build plays 360 owners are lucky. The beta released basically broken, and it still rather touchy, so since Dice has said you’ll get an extended beta, I’d just wait and laugh, because the PS3 beta is almost halfway over and was unplayable for the beginning. Also if a game ever needed to be postponed, it’s MoH. It just has no identity, and it’s only market is CoD fans who hate activision… on other hand maybe it will sell just fine.

Wished there had been an Open Beta as it looks a good online experience
