If you’re a fan of the PlayStation brand’s most popular space-faring duo then you’re probably a little bit sad that there won’t be a Ratchet and Clank game this year. The pair are set to make an appearance in Sony’s motion-controlled crossover title Heroes on the Move but that might stretch into 2011.
So up steps DC Comics imprint Wild Storm with news to warm your heart. They’re printing (and making available on the excellent Digital Comics service for PSP) a comic book following the exploits of everyone’s favourite long-eared, jaundiced, racoon-looking thing (I know he’s a Lombax, don’t attack me).
The comic book will be written by Insomniac’s TJ Fixman and follow on after the events of A Crack in Time. The art is being done by Adam Archer with covers by CreatureBox (Insomniac artists David Guertin and Greg Baldwin). Release date for the printed book is fixed for September 8th in North America, most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Digital copy is slightly more ambiguously dated for “this Fall”.

Bah, typos. I haven’t had my coffee yet and I don’t usually do Saturdays until at least 11am.
Fixed now :)

L-O-L.
He might be looking for a job soon but from what I’ve seen of his work he’s not good enough to volunteer for TSA ;)

Not only does he look about 5, but also slightly not like Ratchet – I wouldn’t be able to read this for the simple reason of not being able to shake the feeling that its actually Ratchet’s 5 year old cousin…

Ratchet looks like a child lol And where’s Quark’s mahoosive chin?! Still, that looks pretty cool, will buy it if enough are made, but if its just a one-off thing…

Now if only that excellent Digital Comics service for PSP would be available in The Netherlands :S
There are many comics I’d like to buy if I was able to.
