SCEE has confirmed that it’s holding its gamescom press conference on Tuesday August 17th at 5pm UK time, after EA’s conference which is on the same day.  Sony have also listed the first batch of games that will be there;

  • Killzone 3
  • Gran Turismo 5
  • inFamous 2
  • LittleBigPlanet 2
  • DC Universe Online
  • Journey
  • Motorstorm: Apocalypse
  • Sorcery

Nothing mind-blowing so far although Sorcery was one of the surprise hits of E3 for me, and looks like it could be a lot of fun.  We’ll have everything from the press conference right here on TheSixthAxis as it happens.

  1. Abysmal timing.

Right at the start of my drive home. :(

  2. Is it sad that I just put that date into my calendar?

  3. OS 4.0 annoucement
I predict OS 4.0 annoucement – key features being re-designed XMB and more social features like cross game chat and voice messaging. Also auto sync trophies and a few other highly requested features as per the blog.share website.

Sony annouced OS 3.0 at Gamescom last year, so annoucement of OS 4.0 this year, is highly possible…

  4. OOoooh Killzone 3, just want to spend a day there, and the rest of the days will see

  5. Nice! :)

  6. • Killzone 3
    • Gran Turismo 5
    • inFamous 2
    • LittleBigPlanet 2
    • DC Universe Online
    Journey
    • Motorstorm: Apocalypse
    • Sorcery

    You effing beauty!

  7. Starhawk surely…
