Following on from the likes of Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5 and Eye Pet, MAG will be getting Move support. We’re hoping this will be through a free patch but this hasn’t been made clear yet. Sony will surely want to take the opportunity to re-release MAG with the update included on disc to boost its sales.

This means Sony will have patched-in Dualshock, trophies, 3D and Move support all after market to this generation of consoles (although not all to MAG!). That’s some development curve isn’t it?

  3. the only way id go back to MAG is if they released a new PMC

    • Which they said they’ll never do.

  4. wonder whether theyll split move player and non move player onto to diffrent servers because im sure one of them is going to have and advantage

    • That would be a disaster as MAG is already suffering to keep player numbers up so dividing the community would be a poor decision.
And so what if someone has an advantage (which i feel will be the DS3) you can always use the same equipment as them.

  5. Are they going to give these free patches or would I need to re-buy the game. For example eyepet, would I have to buy the move edition?

    • i say it will be free. it should be anyway, Sony want to make this product appeal to hardcore and casual by the looks of it, so free Move addons will help the hardcore market have faith in spending money on the Move

  6. Do people still play this?

      • I wouldn’t say a lot. But there’s a fair share of us!

HOPEFULLY, with this Move support we’ll see a big rise in players!

    • Enough for me to only just buy it a month ago… Honestly I hate this locust mentality of gamers right now. Play a game for 3 months then move onto the next franchise.
