8A while back Sucker Punch said they were aiming to compete with Uncharted 2 when it came to sumptuous visuals and gameplay, and judging by this new trailer they might just do it.
The game has moved to the city of New Marais which has allowed the designers to create areas other than the blue/grey wrecked cityscapes which dominated the first game.
The video also shows off one of Cole’s new powers as he lifts up a car and flings it at an enemy and also features an electric sword thingy – perhaps this is controlled using Move? The video also reveals a Resident Evil-ish monster which Cole has to fight, previously revealed in earlier screenshots.
It’s also another chance to have a good look at New-Old Cole, anybody know where he shops? I so want his jeans.

I love the part with explosions :P
Seriously. I love how this has the feel of the first one, the controls are spot on and there are some new cool powers. When I played it at Gamescom, the limo chase scene, it was so easy to pick up and be a bad ass Cole.

Dunno if this is just for the demo but there was no sign of the “ammo” gauge or the good/evil swingometer.

It’s probably just the demo because you can see him taking the electricity from the cars towards the end so there must be some indication of how much ‘ammo’ he has left.

Also, don’t forget that in the first game, when you have the status of “Hero”, any time you shock an enemy you regain “ammo”

I didnt buy the first one, but this looks brilliant so I think ill definately buy it!
