LittleBigPlanet 2 may have been delayed until January but Sackboy could yet be making an appearance in stockings up and down the country this Christmas. When LittleBigPlanet was first released, a limited number of Sackboy toys were made available and as a result they were fetching a pretty high price on ebay.
Two years on and Sackboy merchandising is in full swing and a variety of Sackboy and Sackgirl figures, plush toys and keychains are now available. This may not seem like much but there is a little surprise regarding a Killzone and LittleBigPlanet cross over. It may only be keychains for now but they are Sev and Helghast Sackboy keychains. They are apparently due for release in November and I want one now. There is also a range of Sackbot keychains and figures so you can fill your house with LittleBigPlanet 2 merchandise even before the game’s release. Prices seem to range from £3.99 to £11.99. Take a look below, they are simply awesome.

I have 2 as well and I’ll never sell them. I also have 2 of the standard sackboy figures (one happy and one angry) dressed in bride and groom clothes as cake toppers at my wedding.
They were brilliant. My wife has her heart set on one of the sackgirl figures.

I’m content with my original Sackboy. Everything else I’ve seen in shops has been plastic, I like my material one thanks. Incidentally, I also have one of the even rarer t-shirts they handed out, one of 3000 I believe, whereas the Sackboy I own is one of 5000. I think, if I’m wrong, please correct me. Even so, it’s god to see this getting loads of merchandise. I still believe that LBP should be on lunch boxes though.

I have two little Sackboys here next to the computer but my mate has a foot tall (soft material) sackboy and he looks tremendous. It was from Play.com but stock took ages. However, it’s a great Christmas present so he’s buying five or so more. Makes sense. :-)
