Two new screenshots have arrived for inFamous 2 and give a good look at new/old/new/old Cole McGrath. Personally I was quite happy with grumpy, rufty-tufty Cole and didn’t think he needed a make-over but he got one anyway and this is the result…
Extreme-Ginger Cole with tattoos that look like a car has run over his arm two weeks ago, a scar that looks like crevice rather than a scar and no eyebrows. Possibly the most generic looking game character ever.
Also, what’s going on with his stomach in the second picture? It’s lumpy and he looks like he’s got a little beer belly and moobs due to his weird posture. What the hell have the done to you Cole?
To be fair Cole was a bit ginger to start with but at least he didnt look like a Ken doll who spends his free time drowning kittens. Here he is in his orginal form.

They are pretty similar I think! Both are pretty generic, but at least new Cole doesn’t look as much of a wife beater. It was a bit silly to change him so dramatically, but I think a bit of a redesign was in order.

still looks a bit pap. The original gave Cole a bit of character, now he looks like a mummies boy.

He looked generic in Infamous 1. The new Cole which was designed after the new voice actor actually looked decent, and then everyone goes on about their homophobia and how they’re definitely into girls. Honestly, Sucker Punch should have just ignored them. Anyway, the new old Cole looks exactly like the Infamous 1 Cole. Stop complaining and just let Sucker Punch make their game how they feel it needs to be made. I think we’ve already pointed out that we knock sod all about character design.

Honestly, he just looks crap.
The old new Cole was actually a LOT better than this. I thought the change was good, at least he looked like he had charisma. This guy looks about 40, has a massive scar that looks crap and couldn’t look more boring if he tried.
Massive fail Sucker Punch, shoulda stuck with your guns.
(Still wont stop me playing the game though)

I still prefer the original. Why did they bother altering him in the first place? He was pretty generic but at least he had more about him than that clone from Prototype.

The new Cole’s personal apperance looks much better than the old Cole’s, although I think the old Cole’s clothing outfit looks better than the new Cole’s outfit.
