Ubisoft have today announced that PS3 purchasers of this month’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will receive free access to an exclusive piece of downloadable content, available at launch.
The DLC, called Copernicus Conspiracy, will see Ezio assisting the astronomer Copernicus in defending his philosophies (most notably, that the Earth was not the centre of the solar system). Copernicus will also provide additional courier, assassination and protection missions.
Rather than a voucher packed in with new copies of the game (as is becoming the trend), the Copernicus Conspiracy DLC will be placed on the PlayStation Store for free to everyone prior to the game’s launch later this month.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is coming to PS3 and 360 on November 19th, although there is no news on when we should expect the extra content to appear on Xbox Live.

The multiplayer beta was brilliant and I loved the AC & AC2 single players. If the previous games are anything to go by, plus the gameplay videos that have been released, the game is going to be amazing.

its the same with most titles this gen…i have no idea why they cant just put it on the disk??!?! Is it a DVD limitation thing or something? This news is even more stupid, as we can download it before we even get the disk! jst put it on the disk and save my HDD space please devs!

Good point, but I was wondering why PS3 gets ANYTHING exclusive? Worse graphics than on the 360? Mafia 2 comes to mind.

Right, so one game springs to mind? what about the countless titles that you would only get such great graphics on ps3, Assassins creed example, final fantasy XIII was 10 times better than the 360 so please inform me how one thing makes you see that the 360 is better because one game is a dissapointment

‘Purchase’ it. You don’t even have to fully download it, and it’ll always be in your list of downloads so you could download anytime again in the future. :)

ohhhh itsssss sooooo tempting to get this!
on one hand i dont want to folk out 40 odd quid just for ac 2.5 but on the other hand its got online and continus the epic story… might have to wait for this to drop in price!!!
