No Demo For Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

Are you hoping to play a demo of upcoming brawler Marvel Vs Capcom 3?  Bad luck, as Capcom’s Christian Svensson had the following to say when asked about the possibility:

“Sorry, but zero percent. As with Street Fighter IV, there will be no demo for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.”

Chris also defended having characters for the game as DLC rather included on the disk.

“Suffice to say, there are differing views on DLC. Everyone needs to decide whether there’s value in the offering or not and make your purchasing decisions accordingly. That’s true not just of MvC3 but of all games.”

  1. FUUUUUUUUU…..
So they want us to pay for characters? will the game be unplayable due to no characters.

    • yeah its like rates if you continue spamming Ryu online then you will be charged 50p each match, also Marvels characters will be double because they Marvel .

Its a bit flawed cuz I’m tired…… and waiting and waiting for college to end so that GT5 will be finally in my hands.

  2. This is rubbish no demo that’s fine. Characters as DLC jeez don’t get me started just put all the characters into the disk and then release it and please no freaking colour costumes for DLC.
    Damn you Christian Svensson

  3. WHAT!!!??? no demo?? WTF!! then im not going to buy this if theres no way to try out the game at all… sorry capcom, you’ve just lost a costumer to this game…*goes away and deletes MvC 3 from the “to buy list”*

  4. Loads of games don’t have demos, I don’t see what the big deal is.

  5. It’ll still be a good fighter I have played a few Capcom games from across many platforms and they never disappoint… I don’t think a demo would do any good but a beta maybe!!

  6. If they already have DLC lined up … put it on the disc!

    • Yeah that’s quite annoying maybe they should’ve been secret unlocks which I haven’t seem much this gen

  7. The wife played this at MCM (I unfortunately didn’t get a chance due to time constraints) – Rest assured that it doesn’t really warrant a demo, as it is what you expect it to be.
Also, if she enjoyed it (as she did), then that actually says quite a lot!

  8. Boo-Hiss at additonal DLC characters though. That’s a bit poor.

  9. Beat ’em up. Surely we all know how those work. Do we need a demo? There are plenty of other games that should have Demo’s but don’t – I don’t see the fuss about games like this not getting them.

As for DLC – Don’t announce it before the game. Simple as that.
