Despite the original teaser trailer for Gears of War 3 signaling that this may be ‘the end’ of Gears of War, you can’t possibly expect Epic or Microsoft to give up on such a successful franchise. Thanks to some recent news out of Siliconera, it doesn’t look like they will be. Epic has trademarked the name ‘Gears of War: Exile’ with the intent to use it for “Video game software,” “Series of computer game hint books and instruction manuals,” and “T-shirts.”
We can only speculate what this is and what it will turn in to, but there is the long-rumored Gears of War Kinect game that keeps coming up. Upon filing for the trademark, they even included a logo which can be found below. Let the speculation begin.

You could say the way they’ve done the ‘X’ in the logo makes it seem like a ‘K’, for Kinect?
Plus the X keeps the feeling of ‘xbox’ Now I read this myself it sounds like a load of bs ,but…. :P
