You may have missed the first trailer of Square Enix’s upcoming spin-off Final Fantasy XIII-2 when it appeared for a few hours on Tuesday before dissipating into the ether. The official version of the video was always due today, however, so here it is, high quality, in English, and exceptionally unlikely to “magically disappear.”

Continue playing! There’s more reason to continue playing after you’ve finished the storyline. The additional stuff took a further 20 hours from me after the storyline finished.

I really hope they sort out the combat system and allow us to explore towns. It was very hard to grind in FF13 and it did not help that it had some very hard bosses. I’m going to watch this very closely as i felt ripped off by FF13. Please don’t be another FF10-2.

I’m with you about the towns, the combat system though, I feel was one of the highlights of the game. The last boss was shit-hard, yes, which in my opinion is a positive thing, I really enjoyed it. Psyched for the sequel!

I have not even made it halfway through the game yet as i keep losing interest in it. I swear if this turns out to be copy and paste job with a different story i may just give up on FF forever.

I agree. Loved the combat system. It felt like there’s alot of action going on and the pacing was pretty good.
Grinding was pretty easy once you found the good spots.

You found the last boss hard? I found it incredibly easy, and was disappointed when I found out that for the final part you’re cast with Doom making it really short; didn’t have time to listen to the awesome music haha. FFXIII is actually the first FF game, side from X-2, that I have completed without resorting to cheating. Bad I know, but true.

if they make the game like that all too short bit down on gran pulse, it looked gorgeous, was go anywayere, almost, and loads of side quests.
do that and let me level as much as i want to make those cheap arse bloody bosses easier to deal with and i’m buying it, aw hell, i’ll probably end up buying it anyway, but still they need to do the things i said. :)
