A Closer Look At The PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter

I’m not traditionally the type to get in to gimmicky accessories and peripherals but even I have to admit that I’m impressed by the PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter. The first time I laid eyes on it, I immediately thought of it as something I would never use but the more I see of it, the more it changes my mind.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, they take a closer look at the Sharp Shooter attachment and how it works, specifically with Killzone 3 and Socom 4. I absolutely love that every single function you would see on a standard controller is available on the Sharp Shooter. I’m also loving that the navigation controller snaps right in place and gives you 100% control of your character’s movement – something you don’t traditionally see with light guns.

Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think.

  1. Know your limits!

I’ll just stick to a normal controller.

  2. haha were just big kids at heart eh guys :D

  3. Been looking at this for a while now since kz3 beta. After practicing with the move I finally decided to buy it today from game for £35 as Shopto informed me that there would be no price change on their site.

Do I feel like a sad old man for getting it? Maybe slightly but I’m sure were all excitable when playing games.

In regard kz3 I can’t find anywhere doing the preorder retro pack deal?? I’ve kept my order with Shopto as I think it’s US only and for UK it’s the collectors edition we have to buy?

    • Yeah, in the UK, the retro pack is not available anywhere with the standard edition, you have to buy either the Collectors edition from Game, or the Helghast edition from HMV.

  4. I would buy a Move, just to use this :L

  5. Its has button mapping?

    • Watch the video. Short answer: yes.

  6. I think this looks ace but I cant see myself standing in the middle of the lounge the whole game, and sitting down you’d have to be perched on the edge of the chair/sofa? Brilliant if there was a game where you could creep around the house.

  7. Might have to get this now, it’s by far miles better than the cheaper alternatives that apparently have a habit of braking regularly and easily.
