Capcom released two new videos and new DLC screenshots to celebrate the launch of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in North America. The first wave of DLC for MvC3 will be released on March 1st and features new costumes for six cast members and the previously announced Shadow Mode DLC.
Near the end of the first video you’ll see the new DLC costumes in action. The alternate costume pack will be available on the PSN for $4.99 (400 MS points for XBL) and includes Street Fighter 1 Ryu, Dante as Sparda, Chris as a member of S.T.A.R.S., Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man (Dark Avengers?). Aside from Thor’s old costume, the new alternates look very unique. Dante practically looks like a new character and even his Devil Trigger mode is different.
I’ve been playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the last five hours now and I simply can’t get enough of it. The training mode alone is taking up most of my time so far. I won’t be sleeping anytime soon.
