PSN Is Offline – “Unscheduled Maintenance”

Can’t sign into the PSN?  Looks like it’s down for most, currently labeled as ‘unscheduled maintenance’.

The PlayStationEU account has just tweeted the following:

We’re aware that PSN is currently unavailable and working with the technicians to find out when it will be restored. Apologies.

Community mod RabidWalker backs this up:

Currently there is an unscheduled maintenance on the PSN, which is affecting the PSN and forum Sign In, I will update when I have more info.

No further information has been given, as soon as we hear anything further we will let you know.

      • I take it by “your kind” you refer to open minded people who play games on all formats, mine being PS3, Xbox, PC and Wii, and are therefore capable of making a better argument when comparing games systems!! Before you jump on the “Xbox Fanboy Attack Waggon” I have an Xbox and Xbox live connection for Gears of War & Forza alone, no other games! I have more games on my PS3, MGS4, Uncharted 1 & 2, FIFA 11, Killzone 3, Socom 4, God of War 3, etc, etc, but mainly my consoles dont get played that much because I am into PC building an gaming! So if you would kindly back the fuck off and allow me to give a perfectly reasonably comment about the lack of PSN connectivity being a pile of stinking shit at the moment, thank you very much and wipe that egg off your face :)

      (For about a week now, everytime i visit tsa, i get java script err, then page reloads & it’s fine. Anyone else experience this?)

      • What are you using? everything fine on Firefox

      • PS3 browser, not sure what it runs on, horse & cart possibly.
        Also getting a long delay, between clicking reply & comment box appearing. This started at the same time as script err.

      • The ps3 browser is brutal i can barely load up any page on it nevermind the sixthaxis.
