The pack, entitled “Peer Review”, will feature a decent sized extension to the hugely popular and wildly inventive co-op mode, the return of the single player (and co-op) challenge mode that made Still Alive so brilliant and, yes, leaderboards, so you can challenge your buddies in the rankings.
The DLC will be free – which is fab – and will be released across Steam, Xbox LIVE and PSN starting from the 4th of October. Next week.
In related news, the third volume of the Portal 2 soundtrack is out today, too.

I shale be thinking with portals!
kudos to valve for supporting such a great game with free dlc.

I was wondering when this was coming out, sounds cool. Still haven’t played co-op yet, but I’m definately getting the DLC. ‘Cause it’s free. But no move support, dang. Why does the Razer Move for PC ripoff-thingy get compability but not the real thing?
Adiemus
Yay, third volume has Cara Mia Addio! Great respect for valve on all this free content and the free soundtrack!

I hate to be that person who asks but, do we know if it has trophies? Don’t get me wrong, I’ll download it anyway, I’d just like to know.

TSBonyman

Free? Monsieur Valve, with this freedlc you are spoiling us. Superb.
Bladesteel
Spoiling us? Perhaps.
But when I’m standing in the store with money for one game, two games in my hands to choose between, and the valve logo on one of them: I will remember.

This is excellent news. One of my favourite PS3 single player and Co-op experiences. Amazed they are putting it out for free as well.
