There hasn’t been a single HD collection to my knowledge that is a proper remake. They aren’t built from the ground up and are simply remastered. The amount of work Capcom puts into the effort will be interesting to see. Personally, I wouldn’t expect anything but cleaner visuals, widescreen support, and new menus.

Not amazingly impressed by the visuals (although there is a clear improvement), but as mentioned, it now supports proper widescreen & has trophies.

Plus, they are kind of awesome games! :)

        Halo isn’t a HD Collection.

I like the improved visuals, I like trophies and I like the games. Sold!

Just added a bunch of screenshots that Capcom just released. The biggest difference is the proper widescreen support.

Missed out on these the first time around. I wasn’t particularly huge on DmC4 but if the trophies are easy enough to obtain then I’ll probably pick this up.

Ah, HD remakes, the Apple of the gaming worlds eye.

And by that, I mean it’s exactly the same as it was, just in shinier packaging.

True, but at least there’s a few years in-between rather than just the one, and there’s no pretending that there’s something new under the shiny exterior.

Undecided on this one to be honest – I do like all 3 games (yes, even the second one!), but am not sure whether i like them enough to want to visit them again.

As sad as it sounds, i might be with Jim on how the trophies sound – Although not so much the easiness, more how fun they sound.

The tagline made me cringe like hell! Capcom had some seriously awesome script writers back in the day.
