Pandora’s Tower Trailer Shows Impressive Scale

Say what you want about the Wii, for classic RPG games, it has been unbeatable over the past year or so. Pandora’s Tower is the latest in that line, hoping to keep up the quality levels that savvy Wii owners are now accustomed to.

You play as Aeron, battling monsters in an attempt to lift a curse form his friend Elena. You will have to defeat all of the monsters in the towers of a local fortress because Elena needs to eat the “Master Flash” from the largest of them in order to lift the curse. That looks as disgusting as it sounds, and Elena clearly isn’t enjoying it in this trailer video.

It’s got real-time combat, motion controls (duh.), a unique relationship system and – get this novel concept for a 2012 RPG – multiple endings!

The game is out on April 13th and certainly looks like it’s got a good shot of carrying on the Wii’s recent tradition of excellent RPG games.

  1. Looks great. Sign me up :)

  2. I wish this was multiplatform, I don’t have a Wii…

    • GAME are currently selling them for about £35 I believe. Well worth owning one if you like RPGs

      • If only those prices exicted here in Norway, it’s about £140 here… As I’m buying a PSV and building a new PC this year, I think I’ll be fine hardware-wise, but I might get one when the Wii U comes out as that will surely cause a drop.

Certainly. I wish PS3 developers would give us something akin to the RPG’s the Wii has.

  4. The Beauty and the Beast… all-in-one :D
