PSN Store Update: 18/04/12

Let’s have a look at what the store custodians are trying to tempt us with this week. Well, there’s Pure Chess for the Vita. Last week saw the PS3 release and some confusion over whether that was also Vita compatible but it turned out to be restricted to the big console so Vita chess fans have had to wait a week to get their hands on it.

We also see the first of the three free applications for Vita that we heard news of yesterday. Paint Park is out today, for Treasure Park and the utterly bizarre-sounding Wake Up Club you’ll have to wait until the summer.

The US PSN Store got the Move compatible shooter, House of the Dead 4 yesterday so you’ll be glad to hear that Europe is also getting it, for a tempting price, too. There’s also something called Doc Clock, which sounds quite bizarre and a demo for Steel Birds, which is nice to see.

Don’t forget, while you’re on the PSN Store, that there were a load of very tempting PSP price reductions this week too.
