  1. What’s Hoonigan?

  2. I normally pre-order all of codies racing games but after the last Dirt game I’m still unsure about this.

    • I think its pretty safe to say that this one won’t be anything like previous Dirt’s (well, maybe apart from the handling i guess?).

      • It was all the gymkhana stuff that I didn’t like. With every vid of this game I see there seems to be more and more of it.

      • From the preview (which is actually all i have to go on right now), it seems that there is just the one event type a little like gymkhana.

        The rest seems to be very destruction derby-esque, which can only be good as far as i am concerned (as that is exactly how i play Dirt 3!!!)

      • From the preview;

        “There’s almost nothing of the now familiar Dirt mix of rally and gymkhana here. Ken Block does make his presence felt, certain events tasking you with a brief gymkhana-like series of donuts and drifts but it’s a marginal influence. A much greater influence is the old Reflections PlayStation and Saturn game, Destruction Derby.”

      • Cheers Forrest, I’m going to wait until the Sixthaxis review before making my mind up.

      • Agreed – I think that would be very sensible considering the fact that this is veering off in a different direction. It sounds very promising though & have definitely put this on my ‘to watch’ list.

    • This isn’t your typical racing game so I’d expect to see far more of Gymkhana and racing events of that type. I’ll get it at some point, but not a pre-order for me. I’ll wait until they announce a proper racing game.

  3. Where is GRiD 2?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  4. Looks like a bit of fun, but not pre-order material for me ta. Probs wait till it’s travelled down the stairs to the basement basket room!
    Codies are taking too much on I think with F1, Grid 2, the Dirt series and now this….becoming a factory conveyor belt without the personal touch to each model….just my 10 cents!!
