I was determined not to watch any more trailers etc. in the interests of avoiding spoilers. That lasted all of about five seconds before my willpower crumbled.
Looks great! :D
Origami Killer
Looks brilliant. Nice to see Ubi bringing in some innovation to a series which has become stale in the last game.
Activision take note.

Of what?
Treyarch do bits & bobs of new stuff all the time, and there’s loads of new stuff (for a major franchise) in the BlOps2 gameplay according to the preview
Although not sure what’s overly new in the above trailer, beyond some iteration.
Origami Killer
I can agree that they are trying something new, albeit just a different setting by the looks of it.
But Ubi have revamped everything by the looks of it, completely different to the previous titles. Would be nice is the CoD series could do the same, instead on the same old tired game engine and gameplay.
Origami Killer
Ughh so many grammatical errors. Too may to correct

Just don’t see any gameplay differences you’re referring to; combat with multiple people who politely wait to take turns to attack you, free running albeit this time through an open window and errm… your normal AC stuff really.

Dammit pressed submit by mistake.
Whereas changes with BlOps2 aren’t just the setting at all, according to that preview it’s has a branching story, so it’s possible to fail missions and the story adapts & branches (so presumably characters stay dead, or summink) and they’ve expanded on the ultra-basic RTS element in the first BlOps and branched it out over a number of missions enabling you to control a team and their drones, you can do this via top down RTS style, or zoom right in and take control of individual soldiers and work with your squad.
I recognise your criticisms, but for me they only apply to IW’s identikit, samey, tired by the third one of the trilogy, Treyarch go above & beyond (within the scope they’re allowed to)

Throw all the action at me you want Ubi, all I need to know is if you’ve sorted out the frequently unplayable loading times & if cut-scenes will finally be skippable. If not, no dice!

Took the words out of my mouth my friend! One of the reasons i found Revelations unplayable.

Needs to run on new api aka NEXT GEN api like Dx11 for PC version otherwise the 1st will always be the most advanced superior hence the DX10 support vs the DX9.
Looks great graphics aside – amazingly different combat and animations. Looks fun!
Just need HI RES/HD Textures and lifelike shaders to make it feel real not a cartoon or a game from early ps3/360 era!

Where’s the dubstep?
Jakster123x
Looks fantastic
rht992
Very very excited to see this era looked at. The detail in the environments looks amazing and as always the combat looks brutal.
