EU PSN Store To Have Daily Updates During E3

Sony will publish content to the PlayStation Store daily over E3, starting from next Tuesday, it has confirmed this morning.

New game trailers will make up the majority of the content (rather than anything playable, which we shouldn’t expect) but there’ll also be some E3 “special offers” starting today and running for two weeks, with a “refresh” halfway through.

“You will be able to get some great discounts on games and content which have either featured at E3 themselves in previous years, or content that is related to the exciting game announcements as E3,” says the Blog.

“I would love to list out some of the discounts we have coming on offer but sadly I can’t for embargo reasons,” says Andy Stewart. If they’re talking about Plus, well, I now know at least one of them.

  1. Nofi you big tease, you.

  2. …and in the middle of week servers will be under maintenance I suppose.

    • Come on, its not been that bad.

    • Huh? I thought it was.

      • If you were to average all the maintenance out over the life of the PSN, it works out at less than 20 minutes per week of inconvenience.

But yes, it’s ‘that bad’. *rolls eyes*

  3. Come on nofi. If we give you custard creams, will you spill the beans?

  4. Wouldn’t mind an RPG, sort of Journey esk, or maybe in the style of ICO/SOTC – that would be good. Not too heavy though, i’ve got a whole ton of games to get through.

  5. I’ll be watching all the trailers on my PC but before I had that I used to love downloading all the trailers onto the PS3 to watch them through the TV. It’s great to hear them getting them up on the store ASAP.

  6. I rather watch them on YT as it’s quicker. Not surprised that they are uploading them to the store as they did that last year. But i suspect SCEE will hold them back due to “bugs”. ;)

  7. So exciting.
