PlayStation are running a (considerably massive) survey in which they’re asking readers of the PlayStation Blog what they think of the company, the blogs and their various social media channels.
One of the questions in the survey relates to things you’d like PlayStation.com to do (as in, the website itself) and in amongst getting product recommendations and a release calendar is something more interesting and potentially rather exciting:
Buy downloadable games for PS3 and PS Vita directly from PlayStation.com
This could be great – not just for consumers but also for developers and publishers who would no doubt love to be able to direct potential customers to a webpage for purchasing rather than trying to navigate the PS Store.
The Xbox 360 already does this, so let’s hope PlayStation are taking this seriously – if you agree this is a great idea, fill in the survey and voice your opinion. The survey takes about half an hour or so.

No, you have to be from an area of Europe they consider important. If you are from a small country then it’s the usual SCEE response of go swing.

They could at least give you a free mini out of doing the survey, it takes like 30 minutes of your life if you do it properly, I’ve been paid to do surveys quicker than that.
Hopefully it will mount up to some good changes down the road though.

Pricing would be a deciding factor. Surely because there’s no “middle man” games would sell for less…? lol…PSN store shows otherwise though.

Probably haven’t done it because of patents, I don’t know its kind of a bit late to actually have an browser store that can directly link to your PSN id to buy new content, what’s Sony been up to since 2008?!
